With the right wall mount, the SONOS One can not only look better but also sound better.
But which wall mount is the best? I took a closer look at various models and found a few clear favorites.
The small all-round speakers Sonos One and One SL are among the most popular models from the US manufacturer.
This is primarily due to the balanced sound – but also to the wide range of applications.
It can be used as a single speaker in rooms such as the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or living room.
Sonos One for stereo or surround sound
For better sound, two Sonos One can also be combined to form a stereo pair. Or you can use two Sonos One as rear speakers for your home theater and create a real surround system together with a soundbar and a subwoofer.
Position influences the sound
However, one point is particularly important for all these applications: the correct position in the room.
While low tones are difficult for the human ear to locate and a subwoofer can therefore be placed on the floor, medium and high tones should ideally be placed at head height or directed towards it.
With the automatic TruePlay calibration, the Sonos app can be used to compensate for incorrect placement, but at best the speakers are standing or hanging in a good position.
Wall bracket for better optics
Of course, the location of a loudspeaker does not only have advantages in terms of sound: It often also looks better if the speakers are not placed on furniture, but are mounted neatly on the wall or stand on appropriate feet.
Important: Power supply nearby
If you want to mount the Sonos One on the wall with a bracket, you should also think about the power cable.
Ideally, there should be a socket directly next to or behind the wall bracket so that the cable remains almost invisible.
There are particularly short power cables for the Sonos One for this purpose. Alternatively, a cable duct can be laid to the nearest power socket.
The best wall mounts for Sonos One

I’m sure there are other models that I haven’t had a closer look at yet.
Flexson wall mount for Sonos One
The accessory products from Flexson are among the classics: in addition to wall brackets, stands are also available.
The company develops its products in England and, in my opinion, offers good value for money.
The Flexson mounts are unobtrusive and simple and, like most models, are available in black and white.
The wall brackets can be tilted 15° and swiveled up to 80° (40° to the left and right).
The speaker can also be mounted upside down so that the controls remain easily accessible. The mounting material is included.
Original Sonos wall mount
Sonos also offers its own wall mounts for the Sonos One in the accessories store on the homepage. These brackets are priced slightly higher than those from third-party suppliers.
They can be swiveled up to 45° in any direction, and the speakers can also be mounted upside down for better access to the touch controls.
In contrast to other mounts, Sonos has installed a ball joint so that the speakers can rotate freely.
deleyCON wall mount
The mounts from deleyCON are among the most affordable models on the market .
However, they also differ significantly from the other brackets: The speaker is simply placed on top and only held in place by the recess near the power connection.
Although this type of mounting looks good and simple , the speaker can theoretically fall down.
So if you have cats or small children, you should be careful here. As with most mounts, the mounting material (screws and dowels) is included.
Sanus wall bracket
The French company legrand also sells wall mounts for Sonos speakers and the brand name Sanus.
The brackets, which are also available in the official Sonos store, differ quite significantly from the other models: The Sonos One is clamped into the holder using two metal loops.
This type of mounting allows the speaker to be tilted and swiveled very far: up to 66° to the left or right and 30° downwards.
In terms of price, the Sanus mounts are in the mid-range. The manufacturer gives an exceptional 10-year guarantee on the products.
Vogel’s wall mount
In addition to mounts for TVs and soundbars, Vogel’s also offers wall mounts for Sonos speakers.
The workmanship is very solid, the speaker can be swiveled 35° to the right and left and tilted downwards by 30°.
A special feature of the Vogel’s wall mount is the integrated spirit level in the plate, which is attached to the wall.
Whether you really need it is up to you. As with other manufacturers, the holder is available in both black and white.
